Kupperstein Lifts for USA

Pilsen, Czech Republic, Nov. 8, 2011 – Eric Kupperstein (Cohasset, Mass.) placed ninth overall and fourth in the deadlift in the 59Kgs/130Lbs weigh class at the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) 41st World Open Men’s Championships.  This just 44 days after his victory in the IPF World Men’s Masters Championships.

Kupperstein is veteran of USA Powerlifting (USAPL) and IPF competition. He earned the chance to represent the United States with his victory in the USAPL Men’s Nationals earlier this year. Kupperstein’s 245Kgs Deadlift ties his Masters 1 (age 40-49) World Record he set at the IPF World Masters Championships back in September.

“We are very proud of Eric,” said Joseph Wencus, USAPL Massachusetts State Chair. “He is very talented and represents our state to the whole world.”
