Luis Jaimes at 2012 IPF World Bench Press Championships

Pilsen, Czech Republic, May 21 through May 26th will be the location for the IPF World Bench Press Championships. This year Luis Jaimes a Massachusetts resident and recent graduate of Northeastern University will be representing the USA in the 105Kgs/231Lbs junior division. Luis earned his spot on this year’s bench press world team with his 230Kgs/ 507Lbs press to win the junior division last august at Bench Press Nationals in Orlando. More recently Luis pressed 272.5Kgs/600Lbs last month in route to his second place finish in the 110Kgs/242Lbs weight class at Collegiate Nationals.

Luis Jaimes’ session is scheduled to start Thursday May,24 at 13:00 Czech Republic time or 7:00 am eastern standard time
