The Northeastern Woman’s Powerlifting team has grown from 8 to 20 members in the past year. Last year the team finished in 3rd place at Collegiate Nationals in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This included an all around champion of champions and two first place winners. Currently 8 women are qualified to compete in the 2013 Collegiate Nationals to take place in Killeen, Texas; more are expected to qualify at the Winter Classic being held on February 24th. The team has huge potential and is looking to beat last years 3rd place!

A fundraiser for the Northeastern Woman’s team is being held at UNOs on Huntington Ave. in Boston on Saturday, February 9th. Please come out and support these women with their trip to Texas! All you have to do is print out the flyer and present it to your waiter/waitress. The team will receive 20% of your bill. Everything counts except giftcards! Remember, girthless is worthless! The ladies look forward to seeing you on the 9th and would like to thank you in advance for your support.
