Update for the New England Open

All,

A quick update on this weekends championship. Schedule of events will remain the same as originally scheduled (See Below) the only exception is the High School team from St. John’s Prep who will be lifting during the 2nd session on Sunday. 
 
Hotel
we have a room block at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 851 Columbus Ave, Springfield, MA 01105.
The room rate is $104 plus tax. Call them directly before the end of the day on Thursday at 413.310.2300 and give them the group code of POW
 
Admission for all spectator and coaches will be $10 per day

make sure you have socks to cover your shins on deadlift, underwear that doesn’t have legs, and singlets that match the requirements listed in the link above.

Session I

7:00 to 8:30 am – Weigh-in/Equipment check for ALL women’s weight classes.

8:30 to 9:00 am – Rules briefing and/lifter warm-up

9:00am to 1:00 pm – Competition Lifting

1:00 to 2:00 pm – Awards presentation / Drug-testing protocol

Session II

12:00 to 1:30 pm – Weigh-in/Equipment check for men’s weight classes: 116 through 163

1:30 to 2:00 pm – Rules briefing and/lifter warm-up

2:00pm to 6:00 pm – Competition Lifting

7:00 to 8:00 pm – Awards presentation / Drug-testing protocol

Session I

7:00 to 8:00 pm – Awards presentation / Drug-testing protocol
