St. Catharines, Canada, Sept. 28, 2011 – Eric Kupperstein (Cohasset, Mass.) placed first in the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) 28th World Men’s Masters Championships. In route to his victory in the Masters 1 (age 40-49), 59Kgs/130Lbs division, Kupperstein deadlifted a new world record of 245Kgs/ 540.1Lbs. Congratulations to the Massachusetts resident and Northeastern University Lifters Shaina Petit and Luis Jaimes for their victories at the 2011 Bench Press Nationals. Joining them was Mass lifter Steven Ritucci and New Hampshire lifters Lizz D’Entremont, Jeffrey Hadad and Peter Hubbard.
