The Northeastern Woman’s Powerlifting team has grown from 8 to 20 members in the past year. Last year the team finished in 3rd place at Collegiate Nationals in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This included an all around champion of champions and two first place winners. On Monday 12. November, the IPF Secretary General Emanuel Scheiber and representatives from the IOC had a meeting in Lausanne (SUI) regarding the IPF application for IOC recognition.
