The 2013-2014 powerlifting season has just begun! Last season due to the generous help of friends and family of the team, we were able to send 16 girls to Collegiate Nationals in Kileen, Texas where we got 2nd place as a team. We also had five girls become All-American by placing in the top 5 of their respective weight classes. It is our hopes that this year, we can bring an even bigger girls team and become national champions!
On Sunday September 8, 2013, the Northeastern Women’s Powerlifting team will be holding a car wash to raise money for the 2013-2014 season. Donations of any amount are accepted and greatly appreciated. The car wash will be at the following location from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm:
